About Us
On Tuesdays We Wear Black was created by certified Grief Coach, Kate Mollison. She adds a personal touch to this sensitive topic, as she has an understanding of the nuances grief can create & the struggles that accompany Bereavement
Kate not only has several years of experience as a clinical case manager but has over a decade of experience in business management. This “hybrid” of modalities blends the resource management & communication styles with the ability to drive key performance indicators (KPI).
Her unique experiences and professional training mean there is a cohesive understanding of both business success metrics and the importance of human-centric Business leadership.
By educating individuals and businesses on the importance of grief, she creates awareness to foster visibility and support.
“Many resources focus solely on the emotional aspect of grief. What we offer goes further—we provide clear guidance on practical issues that can feel overwhelming in loss, making the information more accessible for everyone.”
But you’re probably curious about our name…
It comes from our founder’s late husband. Craig was a huge fan of Broadway musicals. It was a lifelong passion of his, so much so, that Craig even proposed to Kate at a Broadway show!
One of his favorites was always the musical adaptation of “Mean Girls”. He would often quote the famous line “On Wednesdays, we wear pink…”, even sporting a pink necktie to work every Wednesday as a secret celebration for the story.
Craig unexpectedly passed away on a Tuesday in November of 2020.
